This is the Palace of the Legion of Honor in San Francisco. The butt of Rodin's Thinker is not particularly enlightening. Perspective is all very well, but the thing you're photographing and the building just don't usually line up.
Maybe the guy in the corner is the patron. Study joke: in the Renaissance the person who paid for the painting often got painted into it.
